What Should You Do to Become a Diamond Uber Driver?

The ranking of a PCO driver is based on the points that they earn during the fixed 3-month period, 5 points for each trip during peak times, and 1 point for driving during off-time hours. Two key factors must be considered if you want to become a diamond Uber driver: rider ratings and trip cancellation rate. According to the basic rules of ridesharing apps, the higher the ratings of a PCO driver are, the more points they will get. In simpler words, your chances of becoming a diamond Uber driver directly depend on your customer rating.

Even though the gold and platinum tiers allow you to view the duration and direction of the trip, if you want to become a diamond Uber driver, we advise you not to cancel trips frequently. However, Uber does give its drivers a 3% leverage, and that too only if they have a reasonable cause.

Remember that to maintain the diamond status; you should have an over 85% acceptance rate and less than 3% cancellation rate. To calculate an Uber driver’s rating, what the app does is that they take out the average of the last 500 ratings. Note that these ratings are collected over three months, and they play a vital role in determining the rank of the PCO driver and the awards they unlock.

Did you know that Uber drivers can also rate customers? This allows the drivers to identify passengers, making it easier for them to decide whether they want to select the ride or not. So, what happens is that after each ride, Uber allows the PCO driver to rate the customer based on their behaviour, personality, and communication skills out of 5.

Wrapping It Up!

The distinctive business model of Uber ensures that both the PCO drivers and the customers are satisfied. Treating all stakeholders equally, the app has a fair rating system, making it easier for you to evaluate your driver or passenger. Knowing that Uber driver spends most of their days driving people around the city, the developers have created ranks to reward the dedicated drivers for their services. To earn the most reputed diamond Uber driver rank, ensure that your ratings are 4.7 or above!
